East End Transmissions Visual identity for exhibition held at The Pipe Factory, Glasgow.
The exhibition's aim is to transmit and react to (personal) stories and events, freeze present realities, and anticipate (sci-fi) scenarios about the East End of Glasgow.
Typeface featured is 'Foundry Wilson', designed by David Quay and Freda Sack, of The Foundry. A lovingly drawn revival of a 1760 font from Scottish type founder Alexander Wilson, whose foundry was based in Glasgow's East End.
Applications include posters, flyers, variety of promotional materials including invitations, and across the project website. The exhibition ran from Nov - Dec 2014 at The Pipe Factory, Glasgow.
